Brazil nuts are large seeds harvested from enormous trees in the South American rainforest. The Brazil nut is also known as the Para nut, butternut, cream nut, or castanea. They have an unusually tender, rich and mild flavour.
Organic raw Brazil nuts are perfect for snacking, baking, and cooking. Their flavour goes especially well with chocolate baked goods. They can be substituted for macadamia nuts in any recipe.
- Product should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from heat and light. The recommended storage temperature is between 50-60°F, with a relative humidity of 65%, for an estimated shelf life of 6 months.
