Description
Red Star Nutritional Flake Yeast is primary grown nutritional yeast, rich in Vitamin B. The yeast is grown on enriched purified cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions and then dried on drum dryers. It is then heated by means of a heat exchanger and held at pasteurization temperatures just long enough to deactivate the yeast.
Ingredients
Dried yeast, niacin, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2).
Take 2 tablespoon yeast with 1/2 cup water, juice, or milk 2 times daily as a food supplement. May also be applied on popcorn for a great-tasting, nutritious snack; add a tablespoon in your favourite morning juice, cereal or smoothie, or use as a seasoning for salads, gravies, soups, and casseroles.
Product should be kept in a cool, dry area at a temperature not exceeding 20°C and protected from direct light. The recommended shelf life is 1 year when stored under the above conditions. Once the bag is opened, keep the yeast in a tightly closed container.
