Pecans are high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which are considered healthy fats! They are also a good source of oleic acid, Vitamin E and B1, thiamin and magnesium. 1 ounce is equivalent to 10% of the recommended daily fibre intake! To make an easy pecan pie, mix in 3 eggs, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup of butter, 3/4 cup of corn syrup, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 3 eggs and 1 1/2 cups of pecan halves.
