oconut flour can generally be substituted for other flours on a 1:1 basis in recipes containing eggs (at least 1 egg per 1 oz. flour), but should be used moderately (15-25%) for eggless dishes. Some other ways to use coconut flour include sprinkling on your morning cereal to add nutrients and fibre to your diet, adding to porridge, smoothies and desserts, and to enhance the flavour of chocolate or vanilla when baking or cooking foods. Due to its high fibre content, it is recommended to add additional water, eggs, or other liquid to recipes at a 1:1 ratio with the amount of coconut flour used.
