Description
Blackstrap molasses is the residual clean liquid obtained in the process of manufacturing raw or refined sugar. It is a result of the evaporation of sugar cane juice, where all or part of the commercially crystallized sugar has been removed. It is black to dark brown in colour, and has a characteristic bittersweet flavour.
