Description
Vanilla Bean is the dark pod of a climbing orchid. It is fragrant, dark brown to black in colour, and has a glossy and long appearance. Our Vanilla Bean is of the Vanilla planifolia variety and is sourced from Indonesia – one of the leading countries in Vanilla Bean production in the world. It is considered the second most expensive spice after saffron, due to the extensive labour required to grow them.
