cashews are a nutritious food, where one serving contains a source of iron, 5g of protein and beneficial fats. After a low temperature process to soften the shell, they are cracked to remove the nut kernel. The thin bitter membrane is then peeled revealing a creamy, raw, non-roasted cashew. Eat right out of the bag or combine with other foods to make a trail mix or cereal. Add to your favourite smoothie recipe, on top of salads, create non-dairy milks and butters or create raw cashew non-dairy cheese, ice cream and other food desserts.
