Description
Product Notes:
HMF probiotics are produced by Pharmax in the United Kingdom for Seroyal/Genestra in Canada. This is the only product line of its kind available in North America.
HMF Forte provides two different strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus plus Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium lactis (on a 6 to 1 ratio of the L. acidophilus to the B. bifidum and B. lactis types, thus targeting the small intestines more than the lower large intestines), along with fructo-oligosaccharides to specifically assist in re-establishing and maintaining a normal intestinal microflora. Studies show that an overgrowth of opportunistic pathogens leads to a compromised immune system, resulting from immunosuppressive and toxic influences such as impure water supply, antibiotics, processed foods, pesticides and stress. Stress upsets the delicate balance of the intestinal flora and imbalances of friendly bacteria, leading to autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
HMF Forte is a high-level maintenance probiotic formula indicated for individuals who use antibiotics, oral contraceptives, steroids and hormonal replacement therapy, and for extreme fatigue, allergies, yeast overgrowth, stress, hypercholesterolemia and indigestion. HMF Forte is highly recommended for long-term maintenance in individuals who are immuno-compromised. The capsules are 100% pure vegetable-sourced, and so are ideal for vegans.
Indications include bloating, gas, indigestion, occasional constipation, colds, flus, and fungal infections.
